The recognition in FiFE

In 1991, the first Ragdolls, bicolours, were recognized within the Fife in the traditional colours seal, blue, chocolate and liliac. The colour points were recognized in 1997 and the mitted in 1999. Only in 2005 through the hard work of a few breeders like Marian Groenendijk the colours red, cream, tortie and tabby varieties were recognized. In 2010, the Ragdoll was seen as a Siamese Point breed, which meant that the Solid, Mink and Sepia Ragdolls were not recognized. The last change in the breed standard happened in 2011.
